Sony’s new ULT Tower party speakers start at $450
Sony has announced new additions to its ULT Tower party speaker lineup, now offering options that are much more affordable.
The Sony ULT Tower collection kicked off back in 2024 with a pricey but powerful $1,200 speaker. The ULT Tower 9 launched earlier this year with a smaller, but still pricey $900 package. These speakers are designed with parties in mind, delivering music on a much larger scale than a traditional Bluetooth speaker.
Three new Sony ULT Tower party speakers are launching in September, starting with the most affordable of the bunch, the ULT Tower 5. ULT Tower 5 starts at $450, with the whole lineup on Sony’s website, Amazon, and more.
The whole lineup also supports wireless audio alongside XLR, USB, and Line inputs, as well as having a microphone input too. Multiple speakers can also be set up in a stereo pair.
Meanwhile, ULT Tower 7 offers more power and volume, as well as adding 360-degree audio at $650.
ULT Tower Max is the last option debuting this month, jumping up to the top of the lineup at $1,500. This monstrous party speaker has three woofers (two front and one back-facing) as well as four tweeters, 360-degree sound, and “a high-powered amplifier.”
