Sonos launches new ‘Ultra’ headphones and soundbar, plus more
Sonos has announced two new hardware products today—Ace headphones and a Beam soundbar with ‘Ultra’ branding—alongside rebranding its software as ‘Sonos 27.’ Here are the details.
Sonos has had a rough couple of years since its botched app redesign of early 2024. But the company is back with an ambitious set of announcements today.
The company is launching Sonos Ace Ultra headphones, a Sonos Beam Ultra soundbar, as well as rolling out new features for its ‘Sonos 27’ software.
Sonos Ace Ultra cost $449 (pre-order here, ships September 29) and come in Black, White, Agave, and Sand.
Sonos Beam Ultra costs $699 (pre-order here, ships September 29) and comes in Black and White.
Additionally, ‘Sonos 27’ is the new name of the company’s software platform, which the company details here.
