Boy, 6, who died in van crash was 'loved more deeply than words could ever express'
Harrison Glynne Jones was described as a "cheeky chappy, full of character"
A six-year-old boy who died when he was struck by a van outside of his home has been named as Harrison Glynne Jones.
In a tribute on a fund-raising page launched to support his family, he was described as a "cheeky chappy, full of character with a personality that could light up a room", and who had been "loved more deeply than words could ever express".
Officers were called to reports of an incident involving a white Ford Transit Tipper and a child on Mill Road in Llanfairfechan, Conwy county, after 17:00 BST on Thursday, where Harrison was pronounced dead at the scene.
North Wales Police said a 39-year-old man had been arrested and later released under investigation.
Teddies and flowers left at scene where six-year-old boy died in crash
The GoFundMe fund-raiser was launched by Kate Jones to help cover Harrison's funeral and memorial costs, as well as household bills and essential expenses while his parents take time away from work to grieve.
By Saturday morning it was nearing its £20,000 target.
"Our family's world was changed forever when Kayleigh and Daryl's beautiful six-year-old son Harrison was tragically hit by a vehicle outside of his own home and sadly passed away at the scene in front of his family," Jones said.
"There are no words that can truly describe the heartbreak and devastation his parents, sisters and our whole family are experiencing," Jones said on the fund-raiser page.
