These are the best MacBook deals right now: November 2026 Buyer’s Guide
In recent years, Macs had been getting more and more affordable. Cheaper starting points, more memory and storage per dollar, and the introduction of MacBook Neo. For the first time, Apple had started to become one of the best values on the market.
While Apple did drastically increase its prices earlier this year as a result of the ongoing memory shortage, we’re starting to finally see some pricing improvements, down from the initial sting.
Up until the launch of MacBook Neo, the MacBook Air represented the entry point to Apple’s laptop lineup. Despite MacBook Neo making its value proposition slightly questionable, I’d still say MacBook Air is a great laptop if you want a better experience without needing anything premium.
MagSafe, a P3 color display, Center Stage on the webcam, and more battery life are just a few of the highlights with MacBook Air. It also comes with a 15-inch size variant, unlike MacBook Neo which only offers 13-inch.
Right now, you can find these discounts across the MacBook Air lineup:
This product doesn’t need a long explanation – MacBook Neo is Apple’s first affordable MacBook, coming in at just $699.
It has some compromises compared to the aforementioned MacBook Air, but it’s still incredibly good for the price. Build quality, display sharpness, and the macOS experience are all essentially uncompromised. Sure, you have to deal with a slower A18 Pro chip (though trust me, it’s no slouch), lesser ports, and 8GB of memory, but it’s perfectly reasonable for the price. It also comes in fun colors like Citrus, Blush, and Indigo.
There’s no notable retail discounts on MacBook Neo right now, though Apple does offer them refurbished for $100-120 off compared to retail pricing. Apple refurbished offers the same 1 year warranty and a like-new experience, with every major component being replaced. You won’t find any scuffs nor battery degradation.
Apple just debuted its revamped MacBook Pro models with PROLED XDR displays and touchscreens. They come in at higher prices, and the older miniLED-based M5 Pro and M5 Max models still remain in the lineup. At the same time, the company also introduced a refreshed base model 14-inch MacBook Pro with the M6 chip. For now, M5 models remain available at a discount.
